RICHARDSON, Texas - Chelsea Buetow was named American Southwest Conference West Division Freshman of the year and she joined two other Cowgirls as members of the honorable mention All-ASC West honorable mention list that was announced today by the conference office.

Buetow, a freshman from Spring Branch, was the Cowgirls top offensive weapon in a year in which the Cowgirls improved their win total over a year ago.

Buetow was joined by Maggie Barnhill and Virginia Aguilar and Kerra LeBlanc as honorable mention selections.
