ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team will travel to Brownwood on Friday and host Sul Ross State Saturday in American Southwest Conference action this weekend.

The Cowgirls, 16-12 overall and 10-6 in ASC action, will play Howard Payne (2-22, 2-13) on Friday at 7 p.m. in Brownwood. Saturday, HSU hosts Sul Ross (16-12, 10-6) at 11 a.m at the Mabee Complex in the last game of the season.

Third-year head coach Krystal Brodbeck will be losing four seniors on Saturday's game. Casey Dowdy, Terri Guajardo, Angie King, and Brittoni Reynolds have endured so much in rebuilding the Hardin-Simmons Volleyball program.

HSU is coming off of two conference wins against Concordia and Mary Hardin-Baylor this past weekend on the road. Freshman Jenny Brawner leads the Cowgirls with 359 kills on the year. She also leads in blocks with (148). Guajardo leads the team with 345 digs on the year and is second on the team with 186 kills.
