ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team fell in three games to crosstown rival McMurry, 30-12, 30-28, 30-25 in American Southwest Conference action Tuesday night at Kimbrell Arena.

The Indians came out firing in the first game, blitzing the Cowgirls 30-12. HSU battled back and made the second game close, but McMurry finished it off 30-28 and pulled away at the end of the third game to sweep the match.

Chelsea Buetow led the Cowgirls with 15 kills and 15 digs. Ali Childers had a season-best 10 kills. Laura Sleeth led the Indians with 13 kills.

The Cowgirls fell to 6-12 overall and 3-9 in ASC action. McMurry improved to 16-5 overall and 8-3 in conference.
