RICHARDSON, Texas - Terri Guajardo was named American Southwest Conference West Division Hitter of the Week Monday afternoon.

Guajardo, a senior outside hitter for the Cowgirls, posted a pair of double-doubles in Hardin-Simmons conference wins last weekend. She collected 11 kills and 20 digs against Mary Hardin-Baylor, then closed the week with 15 kills and 11 digs vs. Concordia-Austin. She averaged 3.25 kills and 3.88 digs for the week added four service aces, leading HSU to a 2-0 week and a share of second-place in the West Division.

Guajardo has 153 kills, 379 total attacks, five assists, 13 service aces, 168 digs and 24 total blocks on the season.

HSU, 4-1 in conference and 10-5 overall, will return to action on Tuesday when it travels to Kerrville, Texas to take on Schreiner in ASC action at 7 p.m.
