ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team will host the University of Texas Permian Basin in its home opener, Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Mabee Complex.

The Cowgirls went 3-1 at the McMurry Tournament over the weekend. The 3-1 start is HSU's best since 1986.

Jenny Brawner and Terri Guajardo lead the Cowgirl offense attack. Brawner had 48 kills and Guajardo had 47 kills in this weekend's action.
