BELTON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team defeated Mary Hardin-Baylor in four games, 30-23, 26-30, 30-25 and 30-20 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday in Belton, Texas.

Freshman Jenny Brawner led the team with 15 kills, while seniors Casey Dowdy and Terri Guajardo had 11 and 10 respectively.

Junior Kasey Ridings led with 29 assists, while Kerra LeBlanc and Guajardo led with 15 digs in the four game win.

HSU moves to 10-6 in ASC play and 15-12 overall and UMHB to (10-15, 5-10).

The Cowgirls return to action Friday, November 1st when they travel to Brownwood, Texas to take on Howard Payne in ASC action at 7 p.m.
