Oct. 25, 2002 AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team defeated Concordia in three games, 30-26, 33-31, 30-116 in American Southwest Conference action Friday night in Austin, Texas. Senior Terri Guajardo led the Cowgirls with 14 kills and 23 total attacks, while Kerra LeBlanc led with 15 digs. Kasey Ridings led with 30 assists and Casey Dowdy led with three total blocks. Freshman Jocelyn Davis had a season high of eight kills and senior Angie King had 10 digs. HSU moves to 9-6 in ASC play and 15-12 overall and Concordia to (12-16, 7-8). The Cowgirls return to action Saturday when they travel to Belton, Texas to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in ASC action at 11 a.m. |
