Schedule/Results | Roster | News | Archives Cowgirls Defeat Schreiner And Move To 8-5 In ASC Action
Oct. 19, 2002 ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team defeated Schreiner in four games, 27-30, 30-27, 30-15 and 30-27 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday night at the Mabee Complex. Senior Brittoni Reynolds led the Cowgirl attack with 13 kills and senior Terri Guajardo had 10. Junior Kasey Ridings led with 15 assists, while freshman Megan Donohue had nine. Freshman Rebecca Delgado and sophomore Kerra LeBlanc had five service aces each. Guajardo led with nine digs and Abilene native Maggie Barnhill had seven. Freshman Jenny Brawner led with eight total blocks in the four game win. HSU moves to 8-5 in ASC play and 14-11 overall and Schreiner fell to 10-16, 4-9. The Cowgirls return to action Tuesday when they host cross-town rival McMurry starting at 7 p.m. at the Mabee Complex. |
