KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team dropped a three-set match, 30-27, 3-28, 31-29 to Schreiner University, Friday evening in American Southwest Conference action in Kerrville. The Cowgirls were led by Virginia Aguilar's nine kills. Maggie Barnhill and Ali Childers had seven kills each in the loss. Kerra LeBlanc led the defense with 17 digs. Allison Staley led Schreiner with 14 kills. With the loss the Cowgirls fell to 3-17 overall and 3-7 in ASC action. Schreiner fell to 10-15 overall and 3-6 in ASC play. HSU will play at Texas Lutheran on Saturday. |
