KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team continued its torrid play in American Southwest Conference play with a three-game sweep of Schreiner, 30-15, 30-23, 30-19, Saturday afternoon in Kerrville. Virginia Aguilar was the Cowgirls top offensive weapon once again. She had 12 kills with just one error in 21 swings, for a .524 hitting percentage. Hannah Toole continued her solid play, replacing the injured Chelsea Buetow with 11 kills and six blocks. Amanda Keithley had 43 assists for the Cowgirls at setter and also led the team with 16 digs. The Cowgirls improved to 13-7 on the year and to 12-1 in ASC play. Schreiner fell to 1-18 overall and 1-14 in league play. HSU hosts Sul Ross State on Wednesday. |
