Oct. 12, 2007 AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons dropped its first American Southwest Conference volleyball match of the season as it fell 33-31, 30-22, 30-23, to UT Dallas in the second ASC crossover, Friday afternoon in Austin. The loss snapped the Cowgirls 12-match winning streak. HSU is now 15-5 on the year and 12-1 in ASC action. Kaela Parnell led the Cowgirls with nine kills in the match and Chelsea Buetow and Amanda Mace added seven and six respectively. The Cowgirls will play Mary Hardin-Baylor and UT Tyler on Saturday. |
