MARSHALL, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team split four matches at the American Southwest Conference volleyball tournament in Marshall.

The Cowgirls defeated LeTourenau University 30-12, 30-16, 28-30, 30-20 in the first match on Saturday and fell to Austin College 21-30, 30-15, 30-24, 30-18 in Saturday's nightcap.

On Friday the Cowgirls split their matches, falling to East Texas Baptist 30-21, 27-30, 30-24, 30-25 and defeating Mississippi College 30-18, 30-25, 30-20.

HSU is now 13-10 overall and 7-4 in American Southwest Conference action. They will return to action Thursday when they host conference-leader Texas Lutheran.
