ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team finished its home slate with a 30-23, 30-22, 30-10, American Southwest Conference win over Sul Ross State, Thursday night at the Mabee Complex.

The win was the Cowgirls' 12th straight and HSU finished the season 6-0 on its home court. HSU recognized its two seniors Chelsea Buetow and Megan Lawrence in a pregame ceremony. Buetow had six kills and 11 digs in her final home match and Lawrence added seven kills and 10 digs.

HSU was never challenged by a Sul Ross State team that was playing with only six players, due to an illness that has spread through the team leaving them without five players. Stacy Macias led the Lobos effort with 11 kills.

Kaela Parnell had 15 kills in her return to the lineup. She led an offense that hit .310 in the game.

The Cowgirls are now 15-4 on the year and 12-0 in league play. They will play UT-Dallas on Friday in the second ASC Crossover of the season at Concordia in Austin. The two teams played in the ASC Championship last year with the Cowgirls winning and UTD won a meeting in the first day of the season in three games.
