ODESSA, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team fell to College of the Southwest in four games, 24-30, 20-30, 30-25 and 18-30 and to the University of Texas at Permian Basin in three games, 22-30, 22-30, 28-30, Tuesday night in Odessa, Texas.

Against College of the Southwest freshman Jenny Brawner led the Cowgirls with eight kills while senior Terri Guajardo and freshman Megan Donohue had seven. Donahue led the team with 16 digs while Guajardo had 13 digs and HSU's libero player, senior Angie King, had 11 digs.

In the match against the host UTPB, sophomore Kerra LeBlanc led with five kills. Guajardo led with 12 digs and freshman Rebecca Delgado had 11.

HSU moves to 5-2 in ASC play and 11-8 overall.

The Cowgirls return to action Friday when they travel to Marshall, Texas to participate in the American Southwest Conference Crossover Tournament at East Texas Baptist. HSU's first match is Friday at noon against Mississippi College. Then the Cowgirls take on host East Texas Baptist at 4 p.m
