Oct. 3, 2003 AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team picked up its second win of the season with a four-set win at Concordia-Austin, Friday night in Austin. The Cowgirls ran through the Tornados 30-19 in the first game, before falling 30-28. HSU won games three and four by a score of 30-28, 30-27. Tanner Ellison and Maggie Barnhill led the Cowgirl attack with 10 kills each. Kerra LeBlanc had 17 digs to lead the defense. HSU now 2-10 overall and 2-3 in ASC play will play at Mary Hardin-Baylor, Saturday at 11 a.m. Concordia fell to 6-9 and 1-5. |
