Final Stats

AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team made quick work of Concordia-Austin to move to 7-0 in American Southwest Conference action, winning 31-29, 30-19, 30-22, Saturday afternoon in Austin.

The Cowgirls made its first trip through the ASC West with a perfect record. The Cowgirls improved to 9-5 on the year and 7-0 in ASC play. Concordia-Austin fell to 3-8 on the year and 2-5 in league play.

Offensively, freshman Taylor McFarland led the way with 14 kills. Chelsea Buetow added 12 kills for the Cowgirls, who hit .298 as a team and only had five hitting errors in the last two games of the match. Concordia-Austin was led by Kaedy Hermes' 10 kills.

HSU returns to action on Tuesday at Howard Payne.
