Oct. 1, 2002 KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's volleyball team defeated Schreiner in four games, 20-30, 30-26, 30-21 and 30-23, Tuesday night in American Southwest Conference action in Kerrville, Texas. Senior Terri Guajardo, ASC West Player of the Week, led HSU with nine kills and two solo blocks. Freshman Jenny Brawner had seven kills, one service ace, and two solo blocks. HSU moves to 5-1 in ASC play and 11-5 overall while Schreiner drops to (1-3, 7-10). The Cowgirls return to action Wednesday, October 2nd when they travel to Seguin, Texas to play Texas Lutheran for the first place in the ASC West at 7 p.m. |
