ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team lost to University of Texas Permian Basin, 30-20, 30-15, 30-18, Tuesday night at the Mabee Complex.

Jenny Brawner, outside hitter and middle blocker for the Cowgirls, led the team with 13 kills and 24 total attacks and junior setter, Kasey Ridings, had 21 assists. Maggie Barnhill and Ridings each had seven digs and Brawner had three solo blocks.

HSU, 3-2, will return to action on Friday, September 13 at the Austin College Tournament in Sherman, Texas.
