ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons women's volleyball team won its season opener with a 30--20, 30-23, 30-23 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor, Friday afternoon at the Kimbrell Arena at McMurry University in Abilene. Senior outside hitter Terri Guajardo led the team with 12 kills. Brittoni Reynolds and Jenny Brawner each had nine kills. Brawner also had 13 digs in her Cowgirl debut. Kasey Ridings, a sophomore setter and outside hitter for the Cowgirls, led the team with 28 assists. The Cowgirls will return to action Friday at 5 p,m, |
