ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team is ranked ninth in the nation and second in the West region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association after the fall season.

The Cowgirls double team of Rebecca Watkins and Stephanie Haynes is ranked sixth in the region and Tracy Henington and McKenzie Swindle are ranked 13th in the region.

Watkins is ranked ninth in the region and Swindle is ranked 14th in singles.

In the men's rankings, junior David Wu is ranked 18th in the region in singles and Wu and Brad Grace are ranked 14th in doubles.

HSU will begin its spring season on Feb. 8.
