ABILENE, Texas - Senior Nancy Chandler and sophomore Rebecca Watkins have been invited to compete in the NCAA Doubles Championship May 15-17 at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.

Watkins (15-6) will also compete in the Individual draw as one of the top 32 players in the nation. Chandler and Watkins are on of only teams invited for the doubles tournament. They have combined to go 18-3 in doubles action this year.

It marks the first time a Hardin-Simmons' women's player has been invited to the NCAA singles or doubles tournament on an individual basis at the Division III level.

As a team, the Cowgirls went 17-2 this year and finished the year ranked No. 1 in the West Region.
