ABILENE, Texas - The Hardin-Simmons women's tennis team topped Western New Mexico 7-2 on Friday with strong showings from its top players.

McKenzie Swindle won her No. 1 singles match easily, as did Stephanie Haynes at the No. 2 singles spot. Haynes and Swindle then teamed up to take down WNMU's top doubles team 8-4.

The win keeps the Cowgirls perfect on the season at 7-0. HSU will play two more home matches today, first against Tarleton State at 9 a.m. and then against Eastern New Mexico at 2 p.m.
