SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis did well at the Trinity Quad Tournament in San Antonio. The Cowgirls won flight three and four singles and flight one doubles.

Hazel de la Torre won flight three singles with a win of Trinity's Laura Calcaterra in the finals. Caroline Scott finished sixth in the flight. In flight four, Tracy Henington swept through the bracket in straight sets.

In flight one singles, All-American Rebecca Watkins fell in the first round, but battled back to win the consolation bracket. In flight two singles, McKenzie Swindle made it to the finals before falling to Trinity's Alicia Hunt, 7-5, 7-6 in the finals. Stephanie Haynes placed seventh in the flight of eight.

Watkins and Haynes captured the No. 1 doubles title. Swindle and Henington placed fifth in the bracket.

Scott and de la Torre placed second in flight two, falling 8-5 in the finals.
