TYLER, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team went 3-0 at the UT-Tyler Invitational over theweekend, with wins over Southwestern, Howard Payne and UT-Tyler.

The Cowgirls dominated all three matches, losing only one individual match in the three duals. HSU lost just one set in the three matches and that was Rebecca Watkins, who dropped a heartbreaker to Southwestern's nationally-ranked Lauren Row, 7-5, 6-7 (10-6 in the pro set tiebreaker).

Nancy Chandler, Bobbye Thompson, McKenzie Swindle, Bobbye Thompson, Allison Baker, Sarah Bartlett and Stephanie Haynes all went undefeated in singles. Watkins and Chandler, Baker and Haynes and Thompson and Swindle all went undefeated in doubles.

HSU returns to action next weekend at the ACU Wildcat open.
