April 29, 2006 TYLER, Texas - Hardin-Simmons Women's Tennis Team defeated Mississippi College, 5-1, in the ASC Championship semifinals on Saturday in Tyler. The Cowgirls won all three doubles matches and McKenzie Swindle and Allison Baker won singles matches to wrap up the win. Cameron Vaughan won the only match for MC at No. 4 singles. Tracy Henington and Hazel de la Torre did not complete their match as the dual was in hand. HSU will try for its sixth straight American Southwest title on Sunday against UT-Tyler at 1 p.m. The Cowgirls extended their ASC winning streak to 57 matches. Singles competition 1.
