Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Going into Firday's women's tennis match between Mary Hardin-Baylor and Hardin-Simmons both teams were undefeated in American Southwest Conference matches, the Cowgirls ended Friday undefeated as they moved their ASC winning streak to 72 matches with a 7-2 win.

The Cowgirls got a win at the top two singles position from Tracy Henington and Lisa Mertz, both winning by scores of 6-2, 6-4. The Cru took No. 3 and No. 4 singles and HSU's Bria Camarillo and Diane Crouch each won in straight sets at No.5 and No. 6 singles.

HSU easily swept doubles action, dropping only five games in the three matches.

The Cowgirls are now 8-6 overall and 5-0 in ASC play. UMHB fell to 6-3 overall and 5-1 in league play. HSU will host Sul Ross State at 9 a.m. Saturday and will play at McMurry at 3 p.m.
