Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team moved its American Southwest Conference winning streak to 62 straight matches with a 6-3 win over Schreiner in action at the Streich Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Cowgirls rested a couple of starters in the match, but still won easily as the Moutaineers only fielded five players - giving the Cowgirl default wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

Tracy Henington and Brittany Brazzell cruised to wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and Sara West won at No. 5 singles. Henington and Hazel de la Torre won at No. 1 doubles.

HSU is now 7-2 on the year and 4-0 in ASC West action. HSU hosts McMurry at 3 p.m. on Monday.
