April 1, 2006 SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team split a pair of matches over the weekend, beating Texas Lutheran 8-1 on Friday in Seguin and falling 9-0 to Trinity Saturday afternoon in San Antonio. The Cowgirls dominated against Texas Lutheran. The Cowgirls won the three doubles matches and five of six singles. Tracy Henington put a leg up on the ASC player of the year honors, defeating Angela Bryant of TLU in a three-set match, 4-6, 6-0, 6-3. Bryant was the player of the year last season. HSU moved its ASC winning streak to 54 straight matches. The Cowgirls are 5-0 in ASC West play this season. On Saturday, the Cowgirls won only one set in a 9-0 loss to Trinity.
