ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team extended its American Southwest Conference winning streak to 69 straight with a 9-0 win over Concordia-Austin, Friday morning at the Streich Tennis Center. Jennifer Cheung gave the Cowgirls a win at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 and Diane Crouch win at No. 2, 6-1, and 6-0. Cheung matched up with Sarah McAfee for the only doubles match, winning 8-3 over Katie Osborn and Sara Knox. HSU will return to action at home Saturday when East Central Oklahoma and Southwestern comes calling. Matches will begin at 8:00 am and continue at 1:00. |
