Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team lost its first match of the season, 8-1, over Tarleton State, Saturday morning at the Streich Tennis Center on the HSU Campus.

Freshman Hazel de la Torre was the only Cowgirl to come up with a win, 6-1-6-2, over Crystal Blazek. Tarleton State is coached by former HSU coach Lance Drake.

The Cowgirls, now 6-1 on the year, are now off until it plays Texas Lutheran on March 19.
