ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team remained undefeated on the year with an 8-1 win over regional foe Southwestern, Saturday morning at the Streich Tennis Center. The Cowgirls got wins from its top three, including Hazel de la Torre winning a tough 7-5, 7-5 match over Michelle Tompkins at No. 2. Bria Camarillo and Allison Baker also remained undefeated on the year. Southwestern won at No. 4 singles in a three-setter. HSU won all three doubles by decisive margins. HSU is 4-0 on the year and hosts Howard Payne on Tuesday at 2 p.m. |
