Sadye Hill became Hardin-Simmons' first National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American as she was named as an at-large player on the third team.
Hill was named co-ASC freshman of the year after leading the conference with a .472 average with eight home runs and 47 RBIs. The freshman from Burleson was among the national leaders in RBIs and batting average. She led the Cowgirls in average, home runs and RBIs.
HSU went 32-9 and won the American Southwest Conference West Division in just its second season of competition.
