DALLAS, Texas - Hardin-Simmons sophomore sweeper Mollie Porter was named third-team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association it was announced today by the group.

Porter led the Cowgirls to a 14-3-1 record and was named American Southwest Conference defensive player of the year and first-team All-ASC. She was the only ASC player named on any of the three teams.

She had eight goals, mostly off corner and penalty kicks and led a stingy defense that allowed just nine goals on the season.
