DURANT, Okla. - Mollie Porter and Cathy Castagnos, two members of the Hardin-Simmons ninth-ranked women's soccer team have been named to the 2004 Academic All-District VI College Division Women's Soccer First Team.

Both players were named to the second team last season.

To be eligible for the award a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA and must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at the nominating institution.

A total of 77 nominations were received from 25 schools representing the six states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
