Cowgirls Travel To Austin And Belton For ASC Action

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team will travel to Austin, Texas to take on Concordia and Belton, Texas to play Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference action this weekend.

HSU, 3-0 in ASC action and 6-2-1 overall, will first play Concordia (1-6, 0-2) Friday at 3 p.m., then finish the weekend road trip Saturday at 2 p.m. against UMHB (3-3-2, 2-0-1).

Freshman forward Cathy Castagnos and sophomore defender Mollie Porter lead the team with four goals on the season. Senior midfielder and forward Diana Bosch leads the team with seven assists and 13 points.

Sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Goold has 33 saves, eight goals allowed, a goal against average of .82, and four shutouts on the season.
