ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team will host McMurry in its American Southwest Conference opener Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Shelton Stadium.

The Cowgirls are 3-1-1 on the season and McMurry is 0-3.

Freshman forward Cathy Castagnos leads the team with three goals, 14 shots, and seven points on the season. She also has one assist, seven shots on goal and one game-winning goal versus Oglethorpe. Mollie Porter, a sophomore defender for the Cowgirls has two goals, one assist, four shots, three shots on goal, one game winning goal against College of the Southwest and five points on the season.

Sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Goold needs one more shutout to tie the school record for shutouts in a career. Her next shutout will give her 15 for her career.
