ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team is ranked sixth in the first National Soccer Coaches Association of American Regional Rankings.

The Cowgirls are 1-1 on the season with a win over Pacific Lutheran and a hard-fought, 1-0 loss to No. 7 Puget Sound.

HSU will face Emory on Friday in Richardson. Emory is ranked No. 3 in the region and No. 20 in the nation. On Saturday they face Trinity, who is ranked No. 1 in the region and No. 3 in the nation.
