Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team won the West Division of the American Southwest Conference with a 2-0 victory over Texas Lutheran on Senior Day at Shelton Stadium. HSU will host the ASC Tournament on November 7 and 8.

HSU got on the board in the 17th minute on a penalty kick by junior Mollie Porter and then added the clincher in the 72nd minute on a Cathy Costagnos goal. The assist came from freshman Stefanie Patterson.

Rachel Goold got the win in goal with four saves as HSU outshot Texas Lutheran 23-7. HSU improves to 11-3, 7-0 in ASC play while TLU drops to 8-4-1, 5-2-0.
