Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team capped off senior day festivities with an 8-0 win over Ozarks in American Southwest Conference action at Shelton Stadium.

Natalie Longhofer, Kelsey Jensen, Beth Craig, Stefanie Patterson, Elaine Pallarez, Kala Chalman, Rachel Goold and Katie Bergfeld all had one goal for the Cowgirls.

In a senior tribute, Goold who is usually a goalkeeper scored a goal in the 80th minute on an assist from fellow senior Mollie Porter. In the 85th minute, Porter set-up the third senior Katie Bergfeld for a goal. All three have been instrumental in 61 wins in their career, which is two off the record for a senior class.

HSU improved to 11-1 overall and 10-0 in ASC action and clinched a berth in the American Southwest Conference Tournament.
