Oct. 17, 2002 ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team defeated the University of Texas at Permian Basin 15-0 Thursday at Shelton Stadium. Junior Jessica Stockton and senior Diana Bosch led the Cowgirls with three goals each, while senior Sarah Shiflett and freshman Cathy Castagnos scored two goals each. Erica Mays led with two assists and Castagnos led with five shots on goal. The Cowgirls out shot UTPB 46 to one. HSU moves to 7-0 in ASC action and 11-2-1 overall. The Cowgirls return to action on Friday, October 25 when they host Concordia starting at 6 p.m. at Shelton Stadium. |
