Schedule/Results | Roster | News | Archives Cowgirls Put Up 16 Goals in Win Over Louisiana College
Oct. 14, 2006 PINEVILLE, La. - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team had little trouble finding the net in a 16-0 American Southwest Conference win over Louisiana College Saturday afternoon in Pineville. Freshman Amy Kuykendall had her second straight hat trick with three goals and added three assists to move her season totals to 18 goals and 13 assists. Whitney Piendak added two her total as well as she had three goals and three assists to move her totals to 20 goals and nine assists. It was a balanced effort in the win as Rebecca Neal, Jessica Flobeck, Morgan Loyd, Jordan Morley (2), Kelsey Jensen, Mindi Zamora, Kelly Watson, Laura Newbrough and Lindsay Cogburn added goals. The Cowgirls outshot the Wildcats 62-0 in the game. Christi Carr and Ashley Jackson split halves in goal. HSU is now 11-0-3 on the year and 9-0-1 on the year in league play. They will play undefeated College of the Southwest on Tuesday in nonconference action at the HSU Soccer Complex. --- HSU Athletics --- |
