Cowgirls Continue To Roll With 6-0 Win

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The 13th-ranked Cowgirl soccer team won its 10th straight game and improved to 12-1 on the season with a 6-0 win over Ozarks.

Morgan Loyd scored the first goal for the Cowgirls in the 10th minute on an assist from Mindi Zamora. Beth Craig scored five minutes later on a corner kick Paige Friedman scored the first of her two goals in the 26th minute to make it 3-0 at half.

HSU outshot the Lady Eagles 27-1 in the contest. April Johnson and Ashley Jackson split time in goal for the Cowgirls.

In the second half, Whitney Piendak scored from Zamora. Then Zamora scored in the 58th minute on a penalty kick and Friedman scored in the 81st minute.

Hardin-Simmons is now 12-1 on the year and 9-0 in ASC play. Ozarks fell to 0-12-0 and 0-7-0 in ASC play.
