Cowgirls Trample Concordia 10-0

AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team defeated Concordia 10-0 in American Southwest Conference action Friday afternoon in Austin, Texas.

Sophomore Laura Freeman, junior Jessica Stockton, and freshman Kala Chalman led the Cowgirls with two goals each while junior Alyssa Wester, freshman Natalie Longhofer, freshman M.J. Pearl, and Bosch all scored one goal each.

Senior Diana Bosch led the team with four assists and sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Goold recorded her fifth shutout of the season.

Chalman and Longhofer scored their first goal of the season. The Cowgirls out shot Concordia with 30 shots on goal to 0.

HSU moves to 4-0 in ASC action and 7-2-1 overall and Concordia drops to 0-3 in conference play and 1-7 overall.

The Cowgirls return to action on Saturday when they travel to Belton, Texas to play Mary Hardin-Baylor in ASC action at 2 p.m.
