KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team moved to 6-1 on the year with their sixth shutout of the season, dropping Schreiner 6-0 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday in Kerrville. The Cowgirls jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead and tacked on four more goals in the second half. Six different Cowgirls scored in the win. Whitney Piendak, Stefanie Patterson, Marissa Wichkoski, Rebecca Neal, Beth Craig and Mollie Porter each had goals for HSU. HSU outshot the Lady Mountaineers 26-0 in the game. With the win the Cowgirls improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in ASC play. Schreiner fell to 1-7 on the year. |
