ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team set the school record for goals in a game with a 19-0 win over Concordia-Austin, Saturday afternoon at Shelton Stadium in American Southwest Conference action.

Cathy Castagnos led the Cowgirls' charge with a school-record tying four goals. Whitney Piendak had three goals and four assists. Regan Cappella and Mindia Zamora each had three goals. HSU outshot the Tornados 67-1 in the game.

With the win the 2oth-ranked Cowgirls improved to 3-1 on the year and 2-0 in ASC play. Concordia fell to 0-2, 0-2. HSU hosts UT-Permian Basin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
