RICHARDSON, Texas - It looked like Hardin-Simmmons' women's soccer team was going to have its second lost of the season after the University of Texas at Dallas Comet Women took a commanding 2-0 lead after 62 minutes of play. The Cowgirls never led up, scoring two goals in the second half to send the match into double overtime.

HSU's first goal of the game came in the 62nd minute from a corner kick attempt from Diana Bosch that was pelted around but finally put in goal by M.J. Pearl, a freshman midfielder and forward for the Cowgirls. Then in the 79th minute, freshman forward Cathy Castagnos connected on another Bosch corner kick that tied up the score 2-2.

UTD first scored in the 23rd minute a goal from senior Alli MacDowell on a cross from senior Kristin Andrews. The Comets' scored again that started on a breakaway attempt from MacDowell. MacDowell ripped a shot that sophomore HSU goalkeeper Rachel Goold saved, but the ball bounced out of her handsand allowed Andrews to unload in fron of the goal.

The game headed into overtime but neither team was able to finish the job.
