ABILENE, Texas - Mollie Porter's goal in the 105th minute gave Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team a 2-1 overtime win over College of the Southwest, Thursday night at Shelton Stadium.

With two seconds remaining in regulation, Cathy Castagnos, a freshman forward for the Cowgirls, scored a goal on an assist from Mollie Porter to send the game into overtime.

The first overtime was scoreless, but the clincher came in the second overtime at the 105th minute when Diana Bosch kicked a corner to Castagnos who set up the goal for Porter.

The first score of the game came from College of the Southwest freshman Stacy McCorkle on an assist from Amanda Heatley in the 74th minute.

"We don't lose at home," said Porter. "I am real proud of the heart and effort the team displayed today," said HSU Head Coach Marcus Wood. "It is incredible to pull out a goal in the last second."

The Cowgirls (3-1) will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Richardson to play the University of Texas at Dallas at 7 p.m.
