ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team battled back from a 0-2 deficit to earn a 2-2 tie against Southwestern University, Tuesday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex in Abilene. The Cowgirls trailed 1-0 in the 13th minute when Casey Grier took a ball inside the box and found the back of the net when a Cowgirl defender fell down. Southwestern made it 2-0 in the 50th minute when Laura Kromann. HSU responded when freshman Jordan Morley scored her first Cowgirl goal on a penalty kick. Beth Craig had just hit the post on a penalty kick moments earlier for the Cowgirls.
