ATLANTA - No. 14 Hardin-Simmons Falls In Women's Soccer

ATLANTA - Hardin-Simmons 14th-ranked women's soccer team dropped its season-opener 2-0 at Emory University on Friday night in Atlanta.

The game was scoreless until the 73rd minute when Emory's Sarah Price converted a penalty kick. No. 23 Emory would go on to add another goal in the 81st minute.

Alyssa Wester led the Cowgirl attack with two shots on goal, as Emory outshot the Cowgirls 14-8.

HSU returns to action Saturday at 5 p.m. when they play Ogelthorpe University at Emory.
