Will be one of the top goalkeepers in the nation after a tremendous freshman campaign. 2006: Was named a first-team All-American and first-team All-ASC after a season that saw her allow only 15 goals in 1950 minutes in goal for a 0.69 goals against average. Was outstanding in the NCAA Tournament, helping the Cowgirls win two shootouts. High School: Was a three-time first-team all-state selection at Pleasanton High School. NSCAA/Adidas South Region Team. Four-time first-team all-district selections. Was also all-district in volleyball and track. Played high school soccer for HSU alumni Brant Bird. Played club soccer with the Classics coached by Mike Alderson. Personal: Daughter of Bob and Cindy Carr. Has a sister, Traci Jernigan and a brother, Brian. Majoring in Athletic Training. Chose HSU over UT-Dallas, Trinity, Arkansas State and Davidson.
